Football Queensland has released Return to Play guidelines and resources for clubs for Stage 5 of the Queensland Government’s roadmap to easing restrictions.
These guidelines include requirements for clubs and participants for training sessions and competitions in Stage 5, in line with the Queensland Government approved COVID Safe Plan for Field Sports.
The updated Return to Play guidelines will help clubs, participants, coaches, referees and all Queensland football community members to understand their responsibilities at the outset of the 2021 football season.
FQ advises that these updated Return to Play guidelines for Stage 5 contain minimal changes from the Stage 3 guidelines, which were published in July 2020 and remained in effect at the conclusion of the 2020 season.
However, it is essential that all clubs review and implement the measures outlined in the Return to Play guidelines for training sessions and matches in Stage 5.
All members of the football community must also ensure they follow the conditions outlined in the Return to Play guidelines.
Below you can also find resources including checklists, QR code information and downloadable signage that can be printed for display at your club.
The Return to Play guidelines will be amended in accordance with any future government directives.
